U kategorijama za najbolje drame, komedije, mini serije, kao i talk show voditelje i rijalitije takmičilo se preko više desetina serija, ali favoriti su opravdali očekivanja.
Kako zbog pređašnjih nagrada poput Zlatnih globusa, tako i zbog pozicije favorita, serije „Succession“ u dramskoj, i „The Bear“ u komičnoj sekciji, pomeli su nagrade i osvojili sve što se može osvojiti.
Pored uspeha ovih naslova, pamtiće se i poslednje učestvovanje serije „Better Call Saul“, koja je završila sa svojim emitovanjem. Za prethodnih 6 sezona, ostvarili su 53 nominacija, ali nisu osvojili nijedan Emi, zaključno sa ovom godinom.
