Ultimativna pobednica večeri je Beyonce koja je od 11 nominacija odnela kući impresivnih osam, a od toga one za Video godine, Najbolji video u ženskoj kateogriji i Najbolji pop video.
Beyonce je apsolutno dominirala dodelom jer je njen nastup bio zbilja najbolji nastup večeri. Pa ne zovu je uzalud Queen Bey, prenosi MTV.rs.
Što se tiče Najboljeg videa u muškoj kategoriji, statuu MoonMana primio je Calvin Harris za svoj spot za pesmu „This Is What You Came For“ koju je snimio u saradnji s Rihannom, a čiji je tekst napisala Taylor Swift (koja je vidno nedostajala ove godine).
Devojke iz Fifth Harmony osvojile su prvu nagradu večeri za Najbolju pesmu leta – „All In My Head“, a njihova druga nagrada stigla je u kategoriji za Najbolju saradnju sa Ty Dolla $ign za „Work From Home“.
Grupa DNCE na čelu s Joeom Jonasom definitivno može reći da ima najbolje fanove jer su upravo oni putem online glasanja osvojili titlu Najboljeg novog izvođača.

Iako je izgledalo kao da je Beyonce obeležila veče, dodela je zapravo bila posvećena Rihanni koja je osvojila prestižnu „Michael Jackson Video Vanguard“ nagradu koju joj je uručio Drake. On je pred celim svetom priznao da je zaljubljen u nju od svoje 22. godine.
